JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 19-02-2025 Heard Mr. Ravindra Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner; Mr.Gauri Shankar Gupta, learned APP for the State and Mr. Birendra Kumar, learned counsels for the opposite party no.2.
2. The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Complaint Case No. 593 of 2024, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 498A, 494, 379, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code in which cognizance has been taken under Sections 498 A and 494 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. The present case relates to strained matrimonial dispute between the petitioner and opposite party no.2, who are husband and wife.
4. It has jointly been prayed by both the parties that
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4629 of 2025(2) dt.19-02-2025 2/2 the matter be referred to the District Mediation Centre, Nawada for amicable settlement of dispute between the parties.
5. The parties are directed to appear before the Mediator on or before 27.02.2025 at 4.30 P.M. Till then, no coercive step shall be taken against the petitioner in connection with the aforesaid case.
6. The learned District Court is directed to take appropriate steps in this regard.
7. Learned Mediator is directed to furnish report to the learned District Court within a period of four months.
8. Learned District Court is directed, thereafter, to pass appropriate order in accordance with law.
9. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the bail application stands disposed of.
