The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Raniganj P. S. Case No. 239 of 2018 (G.R. No. 2518 of 2018) dated 04.08.2018 instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 379, 354(B), 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioners and others, staking claim over a plot of land belonging to the informant, went on such plot for plaughing the same. On protest by the informant, an occurrence took place, in which the informant was injured.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.79938 of 2018(2) dt.17-01-2019 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the allegations in the F.I.R. are absolutely general and omnibus. There is a land dispute between the parties and the petitioner no. 2 has also filed a counter version of the occurrence vide Raniganj P. S. Case No. 240 of 2018 dated 04.08.2018.

Considering the aforesaid facts and also the clean antecedents of the petitioners, they are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria in connection with Raniganj P. S. Case No. 239 of 2018 (G.R. No. 2518 of 2018), subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
