The Superintendent of Police (Rail), Katihar, has forwarded a recommendation to the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Bihar Patna, under communication dated 25-01-2020 bearing Memo No. 124 in respect of the petitioner's claim for promotion from the post of Constable to Assistant Sub Inspector.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be pursuing the matter before the Deputy
