2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Sindhiya P.S. Case No. 95 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections-341, 323, 324, 326B, 307, 504 & 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. According to allegation, the FIR named accused persons started assaulting the mother and the brother of the informant. The specific allegation against the petitioner is that he threw acid as a result of which, the informant, Govind Sah, Amit Sah, Nageshwar Sah, Priyanka Kumari, Sunita Devi and Meera Devi suffered acid burn injuries.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.3719 of 2025(6) dt.15-09-2025 2/2 that the petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in this case. It has further been submitted that from perusal of the F.I.R., it appears that both the parties are co-villagers and due to local politics, this false case has been lodged by the informant. It has further been submitted that in fact, the informant and their family members came to the house of the petitioner and threw Tejab upon the petitioner and others. As such, they went to Hospital for their treatment and in the meanwhile, the informant lodged this false case only with a view to put pressure. There is case and counter case between the parties.
5. Mr. Ganesh Prasad Singh, learned APP for the State has submitted that the injury reports are there in the case diary which shows that the injured persons have suffered acid injuries.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner and accordingly, the same is rejected.
