The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Mahila Police Station, Benipatti, Madhubani P.S. Case no. 18 of 2019, registered under Sections 341, 323 and 498(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 / 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The accusation is of torturing of the informant by her husband and other in-laws due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry and compelling her to leave the matrimonial house.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.79376 of 2019(2) dt.11-12-2019 2/2 petitioners are father-in-law and mother-in-law of the informant and both have falsely been implicated in this case due to misunderstanding in between the informant and her husband Raman Jha. The petitioners have no criminal antecedent. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioners, be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the S.D.J.M. Madhubani in connection with Mahila Police Station, Benipatti, Madhubani P.S. Case no. 18 of 2019, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
