2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 302, 201 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. Informant, who is chowkidar, alleged that on 17.07.2020 at about 3 PM, he received an information that a headless corpse was lying near J.B.C. Canal. Then he reached there and saw the dead-body and thereafter, F.I.R. was lodged against unknown.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that name of the petitioner transpired during course of investigation in the confessional statement of co-accused Nandan Sah. During investigation, it has come that the deceased had some monetary dispute with accused persons and in order to settle the score, the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.85626 of 2025(3) dt.28-01-2026 2/2 accused persons called the victim (deceased) at the place of occurrence and committed his murder. After thorough investigation, police submitted final form against petitioner and other accused persons, however, differing with the same, the learned Magistrate took cognizance. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, in the event of arrest/surrender before the Trial Court within a period of eight weeks from today, let the above named petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned J.M. 1st Class, Purnea in connection with Janki Nagar P.S. Case No. 101 of 2020, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. / Section 482(2) of the B.N.S.S.
