Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Liquor was recovered from a four wheeler. The people available there informed to the police that co-accused Madan Sah was driver of the vehicle and co-accused Rajiv Mahaseth, son of Bharat Mahaseth was also in the same vehicle. Petitioner has got criminal antecedent.

Submission is that the petitioner is not Rajiv Mahaseth, rather he is Rajiv Paswan, son of Chalitar Paswan. Considering the fact that there is no direct material against the petitioner, let the petitioner above named be released

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.79919 of 2019(2) dt.05-12-2019 2/2 on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Basopatti Police Station Case No. 143 of 2019, subject to the following conditions:- (a) The petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the learned court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner. (b) Both the bailors shall be resident of the territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below.
