1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.i) For issuance of a writ in the nature of MANDAMUS or any other appropriate writ/order/direction to the respondents to make adjustment of the dues amount of petitioner and provide no due certificate to the petitioner and further to grant pension and all retirement benefits with @ 18% statutory interest from the date of retirement to the petitioner with all consequential

(ii) Further, for issuance of a writ in the nature of MANDAMUS or any other appropriate writ/order/direction to the respondents to make payment of arrears of salary for the period from July 2016 to the date of retirement i.e. 31.03.2019 with 18% statutory interest which has been stopped illegally without any fault on the part of petitioner and also without any notice to the petitioner."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the District Magistrate, Samastipur, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. It is needless to state that in case appropriate representation is filed by the petitioner, before the District Magistrate, Samastipur within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be considered, in accordance with law and a reasoned and a speaking order shall be passed, thereon, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

4. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
