As per direction of the SDPO, the informant along with police party conducted a raid at the dilapidated house of Ashok Singh as well as at an orchard belonging to Mantu Singh and therefrom altogether 404 Cartoons wine of Indian origin foreign liquor have been seized.

It has further been stated that Mantu Singh, Munna Singh, Dharmendra Singh and Sunny Singh conjointly along with others are actively engaged in carriage, storage and distribution in contravention of the Excise Act. From the self statement of the informant, it is evident that none was apprehended at the spot and, whatever been at the end of informant, that happens to be on the basis of hearsay

As such, petitioner, Munna Singh is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Excise Court, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Desari PS Case No. 307/2019.
