2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Ishakchak P.S. Case No. 125/2024 registered for the offences under Section 108 of the B.N.S.

3. The prosecution case in short is that on 13.08.2024, the informant came to know that a person has hanged himself in his quarter. On inquiry, it was found that there were five dead bodies inside the said quarter which were of the mother of the said person, wife and two children soaked in a pool of blood with their throat slit and there was one suicide note which was

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.465 of 2025(3) dt.23-04-2025 2/3 recovered from the place of occurrence which pointed out towards the involvement of the petitioner in the said case.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and falsely been implicated in this case merely because his name has surfaced in the suicide note wherein it was alleged that the petitioner was having a relationship with the wife of the deceased- Pankaj Kumar. It is further submitted that it was a clear cut case of suicide of the said Pankaj Kumar who had killed his mother, wife and two children. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner was a colleague of the deceased- Nitu Kumari and shared a cordial relationship with her and on account of such proximity, the present incident had occurred for which the petitioner cannot be held liable. It is lastly submitted that the petitioner has clean antecedent and he is in custody since 14.08.2024.

5. Learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and taking into account that the incident had occurred on account of the deceased-Pankaj Kumar mentioning the relationship of his wife with the petitioner and taking such drastic step, let the petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.465 of 2025(3) dt.23-04-2025 3/3 bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M.-IX, Bhagalpur in connection with Ishakchak P.S. Case No. 160/2024.
