2. The petitioner has prayed for following relief(s): I) For issuance of writ in nature of mandamus directing and commanding the respondents to pay grant of admitted due add since 2010 to till date.

II) For issuance of writ in nature of mandamus directing and commanding the respondent no.6 to make reference to the District Medical Board, Nalanda to examine/verify the age of the petitioner in

Patna High Court CWJC No.653 of 2024 dt.22-03-2024 2/3 the light of the present case.

III) For issuance of any other writ/writs/direction/directions for which the petitioner shall be entitled in the eye of law.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was appointed on 08.07.1985 on the post of peon/bank boy and after appointment on the said post, he started discharging his duty will full responsibility despite of not receiving any grant of add from the college and now the respondents authorities are trying to deprive the petitioner from the benefit of grant of add in an arbitrary manner on entirely frivolous ground.

After rendering service for several year in the said college, the petitioner received memo no. 17/2021 dated 07.06.2021 by which he was asked to submit his age certificate issued by the District Medical Board on verification. In response to the aforesaid memo, the petitioner requested the management several times for getting him medically examined for assessment of his age on its own level, but no heed was paid regarding the same.

5. After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner, I deem it proper to direct the petitioner to file an application before the Civil Surgeon, Nalanda along with the supporting documents

Patna High Court CWJC No.653 of 2024 dt.22-03-2024 3/3 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt/production of this order/copy of this order and the Civil Surgeon, Nalanda is directed to consider the application of the petitioner and constitute a medical board to examine the age of the petitioner and the petitioner shall be medically examined within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the application of the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid direction, this application stands disposed of.
