JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 30-03-2022 In compliance of the order of this Court dated 26.9.2019 passed in CWJC No. 16061 of 2011, the Respondent- Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, has issued a notification dated 4.3.2022 whereby and

Patna High Court MJC No.5032 of 2019(11) dt.30-03-2022 2/3 whereunder the petitioner has been promoted in the rank of University Professor in the subjectGeography with effect from 1.4.2007. The only grievance subsisting, according to the learned counsel for the petitioner, is that the arrears of salary / consequential benefits have not been paid to the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the RespondentUniversity, Sri Ritesh Kumar, submits that the consequential benefits shall definitely be paid to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the present contempt petition stands disposed of with a direction to the Respondent-University to make payment of the consequential benefits to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from today.

Liberty is granted to the petitioner to file one page interlocutory application for revival of the present petition in case of any default on the part of the Respondent-University.

It is needless to state that as soon as the requisition for grant of funds for making payment
