JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL ORDER 16-03-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the informant and learned counsel for the State. The petitioner seeks bail in a case for the offence registered under Sections 498(A), 304(B) and 120(B) of the IPC.

The prosecution story, in brief, is that the informant had married his daughter Rishu Kumari to co-accused Rajesh Kumar on 29.05.2019 whom the accused persons used to torture for non-fulfilment of dowry demand and ultimately on 07.09.2019 they committed her death.

It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is languishing in custody since

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.80019 of 2019(5) dt.16-03-2020 2/2 28.10.2019. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. Charge sheet has been submitted in the present case. There is no allegation of tampering with the witnesses alleged against the petitioner. The petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case. The petitioner is alleged to be the father-in-law of the deceased. He is separate in mess and property from the husband of the deceased. The petitioner has got no concern with the alleged occurrence.

On behalf of the State and the informant, it is submitted that the petitioner is named in the F.I.R. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M.
