2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 364, 364(A), 368, 367, 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per F.I.R., named accused persons took informant in their Scorpio vehicle, brutally assaulted him and demanded Rs. 40,000/-. It is further alleged that co-accused Dharamvir took fingerprints of the informant on stamp paper and made forged agreement of Rs. 39 lacs.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. and his name transpired during

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.85930 of 2025(3) dt.16-03-2026 2/2 investigation in confessional statement of co-accused Babban Chaudhary who stated that this petitioner was also involved in the alleged offence. Save and except confessional statement, there is no other material to show complicity of the petitioner in the alleged offence. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application.

Considering backdrop of the case, nature of accusation and clean antecedent, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that let the above named petitioner in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bailbond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Nalanda, Bihar Sharif in connection with Excise Noorsarai P. S. Case No. 199 of 2024, subject to condition as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Navya/- U T
