The husband of the opposite party is the petitioner. Maintenance Case No. 345 of 2005 has been filed by the opposite party at her parents' place where she was stayed after having been ousted from the matrimonial home and after being tortured for demand of dowry.

In the circumstances, there is no merit in the application of the husband-petitioner. It is accordingly dismissed.
