The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offences punishable under Sections 420/506/504/387/120B of the Indian Penal Code.

According to FIR, ransom was demanded by writing letter. The informant suspected that the letter was in the writing of Manoj Yadav and the petitioner was also suspected to be involved in the said occurrence. The petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 21.10.2019.

Learned counsel for the informant opposed the prayer

Considering the nature of allegation which does not disclose a case of extortion, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below where the case is pending in connection with Naubatpur P.S. Case No.246 of 2019, with following conditions:

(a) Both the bailors shall be the resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned Court-below.

(b) The petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner. (c) The petitioner shall not leave the country without permission of the trial Court.
