====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 12-02-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the State.

2. The petitioners apprehend arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 498, 306/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, informant's sister was married with Vikram Sinha in 2010. After five years of marriage, petitioners and their family members abused and assaulted his sister. Husband of informant's sister was financially weak and had no voice in the family. On 24.9.2022 victim committed suicide due to torture of these accused persons.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in this case. petitioner no. 1 is father-in-law, petitioner no. 2 is mother-in-law and petitioner no.3 is brother-in-law of the deceased. There is general and omnibus allegation against the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1827 of 2025(2) dt.12-02-2025 2/2 petitioners and no specific overt act has been alleged against them. It is further submitted that the petitioners are separate in mess and business because deceased and her husband had performed love marriage. Petitioners have got clean antecedent.

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender within six weeks from today, let both the petitioners, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Patna city in Chowk Police Station Case No. 422 of 2022, subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
