The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Falka(Pothia) P.S. Case No.354 of 2019 registered under Sections 341, 147, 323, 325, 504, 452, 380 and 354(B) of the Indian Penal Code. The informant alleged that on 08.09.2019 at about 6 in the evening his family members had gone for immersion of idol of Ganeshji but when they returned, they found the grill of the house broken. The household articles were scattered. The local people said that Uttam Singh and others had come on fourwheeler vehicles and they assaulted the inmates of the house and Sunita Ranjan, the owner of Beauty Parlour. Petitioner is alleged to have abused Sunita Ranjan and misbehaved with her. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

The statement of Sunita Ranjan has not been recorded in the entire case diary but it appears that Sunita Ranjan in para 7 of the case diary has very clearly stated that it was petitioner who entered into the house, assaulted her and put her down on the ground. Thereafter, all the household articles were ransacked. The petitioner is also alleged to have ill behaved with the lady who runs a Beauty Parlour without any rhyme and reason. Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
