2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sugauli P.S. Case No. 216 of 2020, lodged on 12.04.2020 under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 302/, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution's case, the F.I.R. has been lodged against 12 named accused persons, alleging that the accused attacked the house of the informant with iron rods and lathis, assaulting the informant's father, who sustained injuries and, during the course of treatment, later died.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offense. He further submits that the petitioner is accused in two other criminal cases, but the accusation against him is not specific; rather, it is

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the petitioner, along with the other accused persons, has been charged under Section 302 of the I.P.C. and that, as of now, the charge has not yet been framed in this case.

6. In the present facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner in connection with Sugauli P.S. Case No. 216 of 2020, pending before the learned C.J.M., Motihari, East Champaran is hereby rejected.

8. However, the Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial. The petitioner would be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail three months after framing of charge.
