Singh, learned SC 23for the State and Mr. Rana Vikram Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Vigilance Department.
2. Petitioner has inter alia prayed for following reliefs in the paragraphs No.1 of the writ petition:- "I. To direct the respondent authorities to
Patna High Court CWJC No.284 of 2026(2) dt.19-01-2026 2/3 ensure that payment of compensation for the acquired land of petitioner. In view of the facts that the Khatiyani land with building of petitioner bearing Khata No.178, Khesra No.617, 618 Mauza-Mirpur Bhunal has been acquired for the project of Sherpur-Dighwara Ring Road but compensation has not been paid whereas the adjacent landlords have received the compensation for their land. II. To direct the respondent especially to the vigilance to enquire into the matter and F.I.R. may be lodged against the erring authorities/employee for their negligences or irregularities committed in the way of making the payment of compensation.
III. To impose heavy cost or departmental proceeding may initiated against the erring authorities with immediate step for harassing the petitioner for undue advantage.
IV. To provide compound interest on delay payment.
V. Any other relief/s for which the petitioner is entitled for the facts and circumstances of the present case."

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner submitted that the petitioner seeks to file a detailed representation, giving the details of the acquired land of the petitioner, before respondent no.4, the District Collector-cumMagistrate, Saran at Chhapra for the relief as prayed for in the present writ petition,

Considering the aforesaid specific submission made on behalf of petitioner, the District Magistrate, Saran at Chhapra is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law, by taking a conscious decision and proceed to grant due compensation in accordance with the Award so prepared in respect of the land of the
Patna High Court CWJC No.284 of 2026(2) dt.19-01-2026 3/3 petitioner, which has been acquired for the project of SherpurDighwara Ring Road.
5. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
6. Interlocutory Application(s), if any, also stands disposed of.
