2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 384, 387 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-b)a, 26, 35 and 27 of the Arms Act.
3. As per prosecution case, this petitioner has been made an accused in this case on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused person who was apprehended on the spot with arms and ammunition.
4. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. and name of this petitioner transpired in this case during course of investigation, on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused person. No arms or ammunition have been

5. On the other hand, learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and submitted that petitioner is alleged to be involved in firing. It is further submitted that petitioner has also got two criminal antecedents.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, nature of accusation and criminal antecedents of the petitioner, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected.
