JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 29-04-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1. That this is an application on behalf of the petitioner for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for commanding and directing the respondent authority to quash the order dated 13.02.2018 passed in Record no.
02/2018 whereby and whereunder the application of the petitioner for grant of licence has been cancelled on the ground that the petitioner has been given two Arms bodyguard therefore there is no threat perception and further the petitioner prays for issuance of writ in the nature of
Patna High Court CWJC No.360 of 2024(2) dt.29-04-2024 2/2 mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no. 3 to grant fire arm licence to the petitioner."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
