This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Lakho P.S. Case No.174 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under section 65 of the B.N.S., 2023 and under section 3/4 of the POCSO Act.

The petitioner is accused of committing rape with a four years old child. The child and her mother, in their statements, recorded under section 164 of the Cr.P.C. have supported the prosecution case.

The petitioner is in custody since 14.11.2024.

Considering the nature of allegation levelled

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.2079 of 2025(4) dt.09-04-2025 2/2 against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of regular bail. Accordingly, this bail application is rejected.
