28-02-2020 Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Complaint Case No. 285 of 2019 registered for the offence under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code.

As per prosecution case, there is allegation of demand of dowry and torture, however; petitioner denies the same. The petitioner also denies any marriage with the complainant. According to petitioner, the complainant is his Bhabhi. But, in view of specific allegation against the petitioner of demand of dowry coupled with torture, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail.
