The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Yadavpur P.S. Case No. 78 of 2016, registered under Sections 304B, 211 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is of killing of the daughter of the informant due to non-fulfillment of demand of motorcycle by her husband and in-laws and to dispose of the dead body. Submission is that petitioner is the father-in-law of the deceased and aged about 70 years. Further, submission is that while the petitioner is named in the complaint petition, which is the basis of the first information report, but, no specific overt act has been attributed against the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 14.08.2019.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the

No.82335 of 2019(2) dt.12-12-2019 2/2 case, let the petitioner, above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Yadavpur P.S. Case No. 78 of 2016 to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, I, Gopalganj.
