2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Case No. 214C2 of 2020 (Excise) registered for the offence under Sections 30(a) and 37(c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.
3. As per the prosecution case, the recovery is of 193 liters of foreign liquor.
4. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner was not caught on the spot and his name has transpired in this case during investigation.
5. Learned APP for the State has submitted that the petitioner was also involved in a case of similar nature in the past and he may not be granted anticipatory bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
7. Accordingly, this application is dismissed.
8. The petitioner is directed to surrender and pray for regular bail within four weeks from today. If the petitioner surrenders within four weeks from today and prays for regular bail then the same shall be considered and disposed of by the Concerned Court/Special Judge on the same day. The concerned Court below will consider the regular bail application of the petitioner on its own merits without being prejudiced by the dismissal of the anticipatory bail application of the petitioner.
