1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned GP4 for the State and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the opposite party no. 2.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the instant contempt application has been filed for initiating a proceeding of contempt against the opposite party no. 2 for violation of the order dated 08.04.2024 in Cr. Misc. No. 17926 of 2024. It is further submitted that during pendency of the instant contempt application, the dispute in between the parties has been

Patna High Court MJC No.4477 of 2024(11) dt.05-02-2026 2/2 resolved and the parties have obtained divorce by mutual consent. It is next submitted that opposite party no. 2 herein, who was husband of the petitioner, has already withdrawn all the pending cases against the petitioner.

3. At this stage, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the opposite party no. 2 submits that the cases filed by the petitioner against the opposite party no. 2 is pending adjudication before this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 21821 of 2024 and Cr. Misc. No. 21378 of 2024 i.e. quashing application.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, at this stage, submits that he has instruction to make submission that petitioner will not oppose the aforesaid quashing application filed on behalf of the petitioner as the parties have already compromised all the cases.

5. Since the parties have compromised and the order dated 08.04.2024 in Cr. Misc. No. 17926 of 2024 has been complied, as such, no useful purpose would be served by keeping the contempt application pending.
