This application for grant of anticipatory bail arises out of Muffasil (Lakhaura) P.S. Case No. 357 of 2019, disclosing offences under Sections 341, 323, 324, 379, 498A, 504 and 511/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3⁄4 D.P. Act. The petitioner no. 1 is brother of the husband of the informant and the petitioner no. 2 is the wife petitioner no. 1. Petitioner no. 2 is the mother-in-law of the informant, whereas the petitioner no. 3 is sister of petitioner no. 1. It appears from

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.83374 of 2019(4) dt.26-06-2020 2/2 the F.I.R., that all the family members of the husband of the informant have been implicated with general allegation of demand of dowry and torture therefor.

Considering the facts and circumstances, this application is allowed.

Let the petitioners above named in the event of their arrest/surrender within six weeks from today in the Court below, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Muffasil (Lakhaura) P.S. Case No. 357 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of criminal Procedure. This is subject to the condition that the petitioners shall present themselves before the Police/Court, as the case may be, as and when required and in the event of failure on their part to appear before the Court on two consecutive occasions, their bail bonds shall be liable to be cancelled.
