The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Chakai P.S. Case No. 82 of 2017 dated 22.07.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 366, 366A and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is said to have enticed away the married daughter of the informant. However the victim in her statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C. has stated that she had gone along with the petitioner of her own volition and has married him in Surat. This step was taken by the victim because her mother had forcibly married her to an elderly person.

Considering the statement of the daughter of the informant, the petitioner above named is directed to

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.15829 of 2018(2) dt.06-04-2018 2/2 be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate IIIrd, Jamui in connection with Chakai P.S.
