2. This is an application for issuance of appropriate writ and/or order and/or direction/directions commanding the respondents to order the Mutation with respect to the land purchase by the petitioner on 23.08.2022 by a registered deed.

3. The petitioner has preferred a petition before the respondent no.4, Circle Officer, Patna City, Patna vide application No. 893/2023-24 which is pending before him and the submission is that he is not taking a decision.

4. It is unfortunate that even for taking the matter to its logical conclusion, after preferring an application, the

Patna High Court CWJC No.284 of 2024(2) dt.25-04-2024 2/2 petitioner has to come to Patna High Court.

5. This Court takes strong view of such matter specially when the State Government has repeatedly fixed time frame by which the application has to be disposed of. The respondents sit over the mater considering the government office to be their fiefdom.

6. The writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no. 4 (Circle Officer, Patna City, Patna) to take a decision on the application preferred by the petitioner, as stated above, (incorporated in Annexure-3 in the writ petition), if still not taken, within a period of three months from today after hearing the parties and perusing the records.

7. The writ petition stands disposed of.
