2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 8455 © of 2022 for the offence under sections 498(A) of the IPC and 3⁄4 of the D.P. Act, lodged on 11.07.2022 by the Complainant, Kumari Pranita.
3. As per the prosecution story, the complainant alleged that the marriage took place in the year 2019 but she was always tortured for dowry. Once she was with her husband in Maharashtra, was mercilessly beaten by him and after the request she was allowed to come to Jamshedpur. She was not even given food to eat in the house and was repeatedly abused. She again went to Maharashtra but was again tortured, all her

4. In this case, repeatedly, this Court wanted a settlement between the parties so that the couple may join together and lead a happy life. It seems, the husband is in the habit of not only torturing the lady, lied before this Court and inasmuch as despite the text provided by the lady between him and another lady, to whom he is promising marriage, he denied the same.
5. As recorded above, this Court tried its best to take the matter to an amicable settlement, it failed and considering the repeated torture/assault that has been made against her both in Bihar as also in Maharashtra, it is not a good case for extending the anticipatory bail to the petitioner, which is, accordingly, rejected.
6. The petitioner shall surrender within four weeks from today and seek bail failing which, the concerned police shall ensure his arrest.
