Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 419, 420, 406, 467, 468, 471 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

The FIR would reveal that some of the employees named in the FIR of Reliance Life Insurance were involved in issuing fake life insurance policies even in the name of dead person and the nominees of the different policies were in conspiracy of the named person. Petitioner was also a nominee on the policy which was issued after death of the referred policy holder.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.30298 of 2018 (3) dt.03-07-2018 2/2 is that main role was played by Advisor Mithilesh Biswas and Najrul Alam who confessed that several fake policies were issued by them and claim of policy was received by them. Petitioner is in custody since 16.07.2017.

Considering the nature of allegation and period already undergone, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Kishanganj Police Station Case No. 260 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner as well as condition that both the bailors shall be resident of within the territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below.
