2. The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in a case in connection with Complaint Case No. 568 of 2023 dated 05.07.2023 registered for the offence/s punishable u/ss 341, 323, 504, 506, 498A, 307, 420 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code and 3⁄4 of the DP Act.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioners and the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.2815 of 2024(3) dt.20-02-2024 2/3 co-accused persons are alleged to have tortured the complainant mentally and physically due to non-fulfillment of demand of Rs. 5 lakhs as dowry. It is further alleged that after marriage, the complainant came to know that the accused persons have committed fraud with her and they also gifted fake gold jewellery to her as Stridhan.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners have falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner no. 1 is the brother-in-law and the petitioner no. 2 is the sister-in-law of the complainant. The petitioners neither demanded any dowry nor tortured the complainant. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioners. The petitioners have no criminal antecedent as stated at para 3 of the bail petition.
5. Learned counsel for the complainant as well as learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the anticipatory bail petition of the petitioners.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the allegation being general and omnibus, let the above named petitioners, in the event of their arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees

No.2815 of 2024(3) dt.20-02-2024 3/3 twenty thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court concerned, Kaimur at Bhabhua in connection with Complaint Case No. 568 of 2023, subject to conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
