2. The petitioners have been issued notice in Encroachment Case No. 03/2023-24.

The petitioners claim themselves to be landless persons and it has been submitted by them that on the oral permission granted by the then District Magistrate, Kishanganj, they are staying on government land after constructing their houses. It has further been submitted that they have filed for settlement of the land in question and their cases have been

4. The show cause of the petitioners shall be considered by the Circle Officer, Terhagachh, Kishanganj and after hearing the petitioners, he will pass the order in accordance with law.

5. During the pendency of encroachment proceeding, the structure of the petitioners' shall not be disturbed.

6. It is, accordingly, disposed of.
