The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence under Sections 27(b)(ii), 28 and 27(d) of the Drugs and Cosmetic Act, 1940 and Sections 7, 11, 46 and 47 Custom Act and 21 of the N.D.P.S. Act.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, who is of clean antecedent, is innocent and has not committed any offence. In fact, 200 bottles of cough syrup has been recovered from the bag of the petitioner but the same does not come under the purview of N.D.P.S. Act. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let the, above named, petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Session Judge, Madhubani, in connection with Laukaha P.S. Case No. 317 of 2019.
