The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bangaon P.S. Case No. 52 of 2016 for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code. The allegation in the present case is regarding the petitioner and the other accused persons having complicity in the matter of misappropriating the money of the informant which was supposed to be deposited in the saving account and current account. It is further alleged that though the money for which an F.D. was to be issued, was not issued thus resulting in misappropriation of a sum of Rs. 75,000/- belonging to the petitioner herein.

No.25826 of 2018 (4) dt.06-07-2018 2/2 The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the money was given admittedly to the Branch Manager of the Bank, hence the petitioner does not have any complicity in the matter. It is further submitted that for the purposes of bail the petitioner is ready to deposit a sum of Rs. 50,000/- (fifty thousand). The petitioner is stated to be languishing in custody since 18.03.2018.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I direct the petitioner herein to deposit a sum of Rs. 50,000/- with the Nazarat of the concerned court and upon showing the receipt of such deposit, the concerned court shall release the petitioner on regular bail subject to such conditions as it may deem fit and proper to be imposed on the petitioner herein. The petition is disposed of.
