JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 10-05-2018 The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with S.K. Puri P.S. Case No. 164/2016, registered for offences punishable under Sections 341, 342, 323, 324, 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner that he along with others took the informant to LCT Ghat and assaulted him. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has falsely been made accused in this case on suspicion and has nothing to do with the allegation and only general and omnibus allegation has been attributed to him.

Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides, considering the facts and

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.27486 of 2018 (2) dt.10-05-2018 2/2 circumstances of the case as well as the fact that petitioner is an accused in four other cases, I am not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. This application is accordingly dismissed.

Petitioner may surrender before the court below and pray for regular bail, which will be considered by the court below on merit of the case, without being prejudiced by the order of this Court.
