The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Banka P.S. Case No. 418 of 2017, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 147, 323, 324, 325, 307, 427 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Explosive Substance Act.

The allegation is regarding the accused persons having hurled a bomb on the informant causing injuries to him.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the informant is a veteran criminal and as far as the petitioner is concerned, he is having a clean antecedent barring one case, which has been subsequently saddled upon the petitioner

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.28473 of 2018(2) dt.09-05-2018 2/2 herein after filing of the present case. It is further submitted that the petitioner is languishing in custody since 06.12.2017 and in fact, the co-accused person has already been granted regular bail by this Court by an order dated 10.04.2018 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 14973 of 2018. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to enlarge the petitioner on regular bail.

Accordingly, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on regular bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Banka in connection with Banka P.S. Case No. 418 of 2017.
