The petitioner is in custody in connection with Jamui P.S. Case No. 478 of 2019 for the offence under Sections 452 and 354(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 03.09.2019. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case as earlier wife of the petitioner was abducted by the husband of the informant on 01.08.2019 prior to the present incident and a complaint to that effect was filed.

Considering the fact that the petitioner and the informant are neighbours and there was case and counter case of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.83324 of 2019(3) dt.27-05-2020 2/2 similar nature, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing his personal bond to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamui in connection with Jamui P.S. Case No. 478 of 2019, due to the circumstance of total lockdown on account of the pandemic of COVID-2019.
