1. Heard learned Counsel for the parties.

2. The petitioner in the instant application has prayed for declaring the Bihar Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling Area and Acquisition of Surplus Land) (Amendment) Act, 2019 as ultra vires having taken away the legal vested right of the petitioner and for other reliefs.

3. The constitutional validity of the Bihar Land

Patna High Court CWJC No.225 of 2020 dt.07-01-2025 2/2 Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling Area and Acquisition of Surplus Land) (Amendment) Act, 2019 came up for consideration by a Division Bench of this Court in the case of Sudhakar Jha & Ors. vs. The State of Bihar & Ors. [2024 (3) PLJR 403(DB)] wherein the constitutional validity of the amending Act was upheld and the writ application dismissed.

4. In view of the facts stated herein above and following the decision in the case of Sudhakar Jha (supra), the instant application stands dismissed.
