2. The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Sikandra P.S.Case No.262 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2018.
3. As per the allegation made in the FIR, altogether 45 ltrs. of country-made liquor has been recovered from the house of co-accused Vijay Verma and the petitioner is the tenant of said Vijay Verma.
4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and she has been falsely implicated in the case. Petitioner is a lady and the recovery of the liquor is from the house of co-accused Vijay Verma, in which she is residing as a tenant. On these grounds, petitioner seeks to be released on pre-arrest bail.
5. Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.591 of 2025(2) dt.05-02-2025 2/2 the prayer for grant of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner.

Having considered the rival submissions made on behalf of the parties, as well as, petitioner is a lady and she is the tenant of the house, from where the recovery of the liquor has been made, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on pre-arrest bail, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned District Court within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Excise Court-I, Jamui, in connection with Sikandra P.S.Case No.262 of 2024, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
7. The District Court is directed to verify the criminal antecedent of the petitioner and if it is found that the petitioner is involved in some other cases as what has been stated in Para3 of the bail petition, this order will automatically lose its force. (Purnendu Singh, J) chn/- U
