The petitioner has filed the instant application for grant of regular bail registered under section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per FIR, the informant alleged that two unknown miscreants came when he was doing his security job, on pistol point they snatched Rs. 5000/- from him and fled away from there. It is further alleged that when he went for lodging FIR, then he identified the petitioner as snatcher of his cash. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner has no concern with the alleged occurrence rather he was already

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1586 of 2024(2) dt.24-01-2024 2/2 arrested by police officials in another case. Nothing looted or snatched article has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. It is further submitted that the petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 28.02.2023. The application for bail is opposed by learned APP for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case as well as the custody of the petitioner, the Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Kanti P.S. Case No. 111 of 2023 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate-Ist, Class, West Muzaffarpur.
