1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.P.P. for the State.
2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 448, 341, 323, 307, 435, 436, 379, 380, 427 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners have antecedent of one case and the informant
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4227 of 2025(2) dt.12-02-2025 2/3 alleges that the accused persons including the petitioners came and assaulted the informant and her family members and also burnt the educational certificates of the children including the house hold articles as detailed in the F.I.R.

The learned counsel submits that petitioners have been falsely implicated in the instant case by the informant for the reason that Manoj Mandal who was also a petitioner in ABP no.299/2024 though not a petitioner in the instant anticipatory bail application had instituted Rangra P.S. Case No.58/2024 against unknown accused about missing of his wife Shobha Devi, the dead body of Shobha Devi was recovered during the course of investigation, in which husband of the present informant along with Sonu were arrested, as such it is submitted that the present false case has been instituted by the informant to coerce Manoj and his family members into submission so that they do not pursue Rangra P.S. Case No.58/2024. It is also submitted that petitioners will not abscond rather will co-operate in the investigation to prove their innocence.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners.
6. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the petitioners above-named, in the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4227 of 2025(2) dt.12-02-2025 3/3 event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned trial court where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Gopalpur (Rangra O.P.) P.S. Case No.61/2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
7. However, it is made clear that in the event if the Investigating Officer of the case files an application before the learned trial court bringing to its notice that the petitioner despite giving assurance to this court is not co-operating in the investigation in that event the learned trial court shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bonds of the petitioner.
