2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 201, 498-A and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per prosecution case, marriage of the daughter of informant was solemnized in the year 2016 with co-accused Ranjit Kumar but she was always harassed and tortured for dowry and the allegation is that on 23.05.2024, an information came that she has been beaten badly. As informant and others reached the place, they came to know that she is dead and the accused persons are taking the dead body for cremation.

4. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is brother-in-law of the deceased and there is general and omnibus allegation against him. Petitioner is separate in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.89614 of 2024(2) dt.03-04-2025 2/2 mess and property and he is not concerned with family affairs of the deceased. Thrust of accusation is against husband of the deceased who is in custody since 02.07.2024. Petitioner has got clean antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that let the above named petitioner in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-VI, Patna City, Patna in connection with Bypass P. S. Case No. 199 of 2024, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Navya/- U T
