Mr. Lalan Kumar ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SHIVAJI PANDEY ORAL ORDER 10-12-2020 Heard Mr. Umesh Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. Lalan Kumar, learned counsel for the State through video conferencing.

In the present case, the petitioners are seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Gopalganj Town P.S. Case No. 488 of 2019, G.R. No. 1164 of 2019 registered for offence under sections 30 (a)/41 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

A huge quantity i.e. 596.160 litres illegal liquor has been recovered from an abandoned house.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.80612 of 2019(5) dt.10-12-2020 2/2 petitioners have no connection with the said liquor. Looking to the quantity of liquor, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners and accordingly their prayer for grant of anticipatory bail is rejected. However, if the petitioners surrender before the court below and pray for regular bail, the court below without being prejudiced by this order will take decision in accordance with law.
