2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Parsa Bazar P.S. Case No. 269 of 2025 dated 26.06.2025 instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 140(2) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023
3. As per the prosecution case, the husband of the informant was abducted by the petitioner and when the police conducted raid at the place where the husband of the informant was found, the petitioner and co-accused were apprehended while trying to run away on seeing the police party.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is friendship between husband of the informant and the petitioner
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7511 of 2026(2) dt.04-02-2026 2/2 and both of them always used to visit the house of each other. The informant's husband demanded Rs. 50,000/- as loan from one Chandan Kumar and he gave the aforesaid amount to the informant's husband and when Chandan Kumar demanded his loan amount from the informant's husband, then the informant's husband has lodged this false and fabricated case. It is further submitted that co-accused Chandan Kumar has been granted bail vide order dated 21.01.2026 passed by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 75773 of 2025. Lastly, it has been submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 24.06.2025 having one criminal case against him. Charge-sheet has been submitted in the case.
5. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
6. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned J. M. 1st Class, Patna in Parsa Bazar P.S. Case No. 269 of 2025.
