Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Rampur PS Case No.128 of 2016, registered under Section 387 of the Indian Penal Code as well as under Sections 25(1B)a/26 of the Arms Act. Allegation in brief is that petitioner was making demand of Rs.10 lacs from the informant and threatening for giving the money for entering into an agreement for sale and the accused persons tried to kidnap the informant but the local persons turned up and they escaped away leaving the motorcycle and from the dickey of the motorcycle, two live cartridges were recovered.

No.30885 of 2018(2) dt.18-05-2018 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for the same day of occurrence, the petitioner lodged a case against the informant for throwing garbage as they are next door neighbours, the petitioner was assaulted by the informant causing injury to him and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and counter case i.e. Rampur PS Case No.129 of 2016 is Annexure-2 to this bail petition.

Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, petitioner Anurag Kumar @ Anurag Saurabh is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Gaya in connection with Rampur PS Case No.128 of 2016.
