2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Ghanshyampur P.S. Case No.68 of 2022 lodged under Section 395 of the IPC.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the bail application of the petitioner has earlier been rejected vide order dated 08.11.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No.58736 of 2023 with direction to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after one year from today.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner is in custody since 28.04.2022 and more than one year has already been lapsed, but trial has not been concluded. He further submits that progress report of the trial

5. Counsel for the Informant vehemently opposes the prayer for bail and submits that speedy trial is going on and all witnesses have been examined except the witness of doctor whose cross examination is left.

6. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that progress report has been called for. From the report, it transpires that only one witness has yet to be examined.

7. In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at present. Therefore, the bail application of the petitioner is hereby rejected.

8. However, it is hereby directed to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Darbhanga to do the needful and instruct the SHO and I.O. of this case to conclude the trial as earliest as speedy trial is the constitutional vision of justice.

9. Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial within 3 months.

10. Registry is directed to communicate this order forthwith to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Darbhanga. Registry is further directed to hand over a copy of this order to
