The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Basopatti P.S. Case No. 28 of 2018 corresponding to G.R. No. 144 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Section 272, 273 of the I.P.C. and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.
The allegation is regarding recovery of 480 liters of illicit liquor from the motorcycle being driven by the petitioner and the co-accused person.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that neither the motorcycle belongs to the petitioner nor any recovery has been affected from the conscious possession of the petitioner. It is stated that the petitioner has a clean antecedent and is

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-II-Cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Madhubani in connection with Basopatti P.S. Case No. 28 of 2018, corresponding to G.R. No.144 of 2018.
