(a) Issuance of writ in the nature of Certiorari for quashing/ setting aside Letter No. 357 dated
Patna High Court CWJC No.2649 of 2024(3) dt.07-10-2024 2/2 04.11.2023, whereby the SubDivisional Officer, Minor Irrigation Division, Asthawan, Nalanda has written to the Circle Officer, Ashawan, Nalanda directing him to remove the encroachment from the pond and for demarcating the land in question.
(b) Issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondents not to disturb or acquire the land, settled in the year 1965.
(c) The Respondents be further directed to look into the matter seriously, prior to taking any action against the petitioners who belong to the Schedule Caste 'Dushadh'
category and are landless persons."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the District Magistrate, Nalanda for redressal of their aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands disposed off.
